Level 1 Award in ADAS
Awareness

  • This module is intended for
    individuals who might come across Advanced Driver Assistance Systems of all variations and need to be aware of safety precautions.
  • It is suitable for non-technical personnel such as managers, valeters, parts staff, sales and aftersales staff, event staff, fleet managers and staff, vehicle recovery 
    personnel, vehicle dismantlers, vehicle damage assessors, insurance companies, and vehicle hire companies.
  • Covers knowledge about the risks
    associated with ADAS systems in vehicles and the necessary precautions to avoid
    potential harm.


Level 2 Award in ADAS
Calibration

  • Learners who service and maintain vehicles equipped with ADAS technology are eligible for this award. It encompasses the necessary skills and knowledge for
    performing calibration of ADAS sensors,
    including those for driver safety, pedestrian safety, motion/stability control, and
    collision avoidance systems.
  • Upon completion of this certification,
    technicians will have acquired knowledge in safe operation, understanding various technologies, and familiarity with the tools, equipment, and environmental
    requirements for calibrating ADAS systems.


Level 3 Award in Diagnosing, Rectifying and Recalibrating ADAS Components

  • This qualification is intended for individuals who service and fix vehicles equipped with ADAS technology. It encompasses the
    expertise and abilities needed to recognize and correct issues that arise in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems through
    performing diagnostic procedures before removing, replacing, and recalibrating sensors.
