As we approach the final countdown for the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS) updates, the industry is bracing for a shift in accountability. The days of ‘Qualified Supervisors’ signing off on junior installers’ work from a distance are ending. Every individual working on public charging infrastructure is now being pushed toward individual certification.
It’s a tightening of the net that will undoubtedly raise safety standards across the board, and I’m fully supporting this move toward a more ‘technically verified’ workforce.
